Yes — that is what FlexiBudget was built for. It combines a full household budget (categories, budgets, accounts, payees, projects) with a proper vehicle ledger (refuels with odometer readings, fuel economy, servicing, parts and labor). Fuel-log apps such as Fuelly, Drivvo and Fuelio track the car but have no household budget; budgeting apps such as YNAB, Bluecoins, Spendee or PocketGuard give you a flat "Car" category with no odometer, consumption or service history.

Log the refuel or the service once, in the vehicle. FlexiBudget records the vehicle detail (odometer reading, liters or kWh, price per unit, parts and labor) and the money side of the same event at once, so the spend lands in your monthly budget and your category totals automatically. There is no export, no reconciliation and no second entry.

You build it. The dashboard is a grid you fill from a widget catalog — quick-add buttons, charts, recent transactions and vehicle events, refuel and service shortcuts, section headers — and you group those widgets into tabs you name yourself, such as Today, Bills, Fleet or one per vehicle. Nothing is a fixed home screen chosen by the developers. The layout is also saved separately per device, so your phone and your laptop can show completely different things.

FlexiBudget is a progressive web app, so it runs in any modern browser — iPhone, Android, iPad, Windows, macOS and Linux — with no app-store install required. You can add it to your home screen or dock so it opens like a native app. Each device keeps its own dashboard layout, so your phone can show quick-entry buttons while your laptop shows charts.

No. FlexiBudget has no bank aggregation at all, on purpose. Every transaction is entered by hand, which means no banking credentials handed to a third party, no feeds silently breaking, and no miscategorized charges to untangle later. Recurring expenses can be pinned as quick buttons so most logging takes two taps.

The free plan is the complete app on one device, forever: unlimited accounts, categories, budgets and vehicles, the full vehicle ledger, a personalized dashboard, today's exchange rates and no ads. What it does not include is cloud backup, cross-device sync and historically accurate exchange rates — those are the paid Standard plan at €3.50 per month or €25 per year. On the free plan your data lives only on that one device, so losing the device means losing the data.

Yes. FlexiBudget is offline-first: the data lives in the browser's local database on your device, so it works on a plane, in the metro or in an underground parking lot with no signal. Nothing is queued waiting for a connection — the app is fully usable, and sync (on the paid plan) catches up whenever you are online again.

Gasoline, diesel, LPG/autogas, CNG/natural gas, electricity, AdBlue/DEF and hydrogen. Each can carry a product variant — 95, 98, E10, E85 for gasoline; winter, arctic, biodiesel or GTL for diesel; propane, butane or mix for LPG; home, work, slow, fast or ultra-fast for charging — so you can compare what different grades or charging speeds actually cost you.

Yes. A vehicle can have several fuel types at once, and every refuel or charge is recorded against a specific one. A plug-in hybrid's gasoline and its kWh are tracked and averaged separately, so neither distorts the other, and an LPG conversion — a gasoline car retrofitted with an autogas tank so it runs on either fuel — keeps its LPG and gasoline consumption apart, which is what tells you whether the install has paid for itself. Each fuel type also carries its own unit and its own preferred way of showing efficiency.

Yes — all three forms are available: fuel per 100 distance (L/100km), fuel per distance (L/km) and distance per fuel (km/L, or miles per gallon). The choice is made per fuel type, so a PHEV owner can read gasoline as MPG and electricity as kWh/100km. Distances can be kilometers or miles, and the sensible default is picked from whichever you choose.

No. Measuring consumption needs two fill-ups at a known, repeatable fuel level, and brimming the tank is only one way to get there — the low-fuel warning light also comes on at a fixed level, around 10-15% remaining, and is easier to hit consistently. FlexiBudget accepts either anchor and measures full-to-full or empty-to-empty, whichever you mark. On an EV the same two marks read as "charged to full" and "low battery warning". Fill-ups you don't mark at all still record their cost, volume and odometer reading — they just don't close a measurement. The two marks can't currently be combined inside a single measurement, so a vehicle's history is read through whichever anchor you used more often.

Yes. The vehicle model is deliberately generic: anything with running costs works, including motorcycles, work vans and trucks, e-bikes, e-scooters and boats. Machines measured in running hours rather than distance are supported too — the odometer becomes an hour meter and costs are reported per hour instead of per kilometer.

Yes, there is no limit on the free plan or the paid one. Each vehicle keeps its own fuel log, service history, consumption averages and cost-per-distance figures, and all of them roll up into the same household budget so you can see what the whole fleet costs per month.

Every service records what was done with parts and labor split out, so you can see how much of your spend is components versus shop labor. Service intervals produce reminders based on distance or time, which is what keeps a timing belt change from arriving as a surprise. The complete history stays attached to the vehicle for as long as you own it.

You can pick any of 150+ currencies as your base and record transactions in any other. On the paid plan a back-dated foreign transaction is converted at the exchange rate from the day it actually happened, not today's rate, and charts recompute each entry against its period-accurate rate — so a volatile currency does not quietly distort your history. The free plan uses today's rates.

No. There are no ads in FlexiBudget and there never will be, and your data is not sold or shared. On the free plan the data never leaves your device at all. On the paid plan it syncs only between your own devices, and the subscription is what funds development — there are no investors and no advertising revenue behind it.
